Shortcuts in action
F12 is the shortcut for Save as on Excel, Word and PowerPoint. I assume you get annoyed that to Save As via clicking you must click 5 or so times to get to the folder picker. This shortcut has a single step to bypass all those clicks. Note that on certain laptops you will have to click Fn and F12 together.
