The new Office 2016 for Windows was launched today. If you have an Office 365 subscription you can get your hands on it by logging into the Microsoft Office portal and downloading the installer. Installing Office 2016 will remove Office 2013. More upgrade info here. The big new features include better real time co-authoring in Word documents when using OneDrive or SharePoint. For Outlook, file attachment improvements, Office Group support, Clutter integration and overall performance upgrades are good to have. Excel has improved Power BI integrations. Connecting with OneDrive is significantly improved. Tell Me helps you easily and quickly find the right Office feature or command, and Smart Lookup brings insights from the web right into your documents. Previously available only in Office Online, Tell Me and Smart Lookup are now available across the Office 2016 client apps. Integration with Windows 10's Cortana electronic assistant and Outlook could useful. And there is a lot more including the phone & tablet apps, Sway, Planner, GigJam and more.
